World Continence Week

👉It is World Continence Week! Is that a thing? Didn’t know that existed? You are not alone 😂
So many women think that nobody else is dealing with these problems…but half of women over 50 have a prolapse and 1 out of 3 women have incontinence.
The good news is that these issues can be treated…they do not have to be permanent.
For example, after my 4th child, I was diagnosed with a mild prolapse.
There is some interesting research that states that using a pessary can help to reduce a prolapse. So, I used a menstrual cup and poise impresses to provide some support for awhile. When I was rechecked, the prolapse was gone…yeah!
Increasing correct use of the pelvic floor muscles can also provide support to this area. If you have this or know someone who does, feel free to contact me for more information.
