World Continence Week

šŸ‘‰It isĀ World Continence Week! Is that a thing? Didnā€™t know that existed? You are not aloneĀ šŸ˜‚
So many women think that nobody else is dealing with these problemsā€¦but half of women over 50 have a prolapse and 1 out of 3 women haveĀ incontinence.
The good news is that these issues can be treatedā€¦they do not have to be permanent.
For example, after my 4th child, I was diagnosed with a mildĀ prolapse.
There is some interesting research that states that using a pessary can help to reduce a prolapse. So, I used a menstrual cup and poise impresses to provide some support for awhile. When I was rechecked, the prolapse was goneā€¦yeah!
Increasing correct use of the pelvic floor muscles can also provide support to this area. If you have this or know someone who does, feel free toĀ contact meĀ for more information.
