They are all bladder irritants. And for some people, sugar, artificial sweeteners, and tomatoes are also irritants. So you may notice that after ingesting these things, you have to go to the bathroom more often. Does this mean that if you have a cup of joe every morning that you are doomed to going to the bathroom more often? Not necessarily. Some people find that a product called Prelief is helpful to reduce the irritation.
Other people decide that they no longer want to eat or drink bladder irritants, but they don’t want to only drink water. Pear juice and cherry juice are good alternatives, and others like fruit infused water.
