It's OK to Bring Kids

I often get asked if it’s okay to bring kids to a pelvic floor therapy appointment.

The answer is YES. It is always okay to bring your children.

I do recommend bringing something for them to do. I’ve had mamas bring in four kids to their appointments. Sometimes moms need to breastfeed during their appointment, it’s all okay.

I have four kids of my own. If I couldn’t get something done when children were there I would never get anything done. 😉 Sometimes moms choose not to bring their children because they feel like they can concentrate more. Children being present can mean that we get less done during a treatment. And it may make it more difficult for Mom to concentrate. So finding a sitter, or making your appointment in the evening when they can be with Dad is okay too.
